  • Holy Family

    Be an angel, shepherd, wise man, or Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus (we use babies up to 2 years old when weather permits) Families with children are welcome.

  • Animals

    Help oversee the safety of the animals and our guests. You MUST have prior experience working with large animals

  • children's activities

    Help a child make a candle, a toy or a pinch pot. These activity helpers are in costume and play the role of a shop keeper.

  • Music stage

    Help set up and run the sound system and manage performances, or volunteer your choral group, music band or ensemble to fill a music performance slot.

  • Turkey leg stand

    Cook turkey legs, make curly fries or serve food in the food booth.

  • Living photo booth

    Be an angel, beggar or shepherd to pose with guests to take a photo.

  • Hospitality Team

    Manage the volunteer check-in area; help volunteers get into their costumes or staff the volunteer hospitality tent.

  • Bethlehem Residents

    Be an angel on the wall, a greeter at the entrance, a Roman soldier, or a resident to interact with the guests inside and outside of the town.

Long before we open the gates to Bethlehem, there is much work to be done! Help is needed to make costumes, build and repair sets, set up and take down the town, raise money and promote the event, and serve on the Board of Directors. Contact us to learn more about how you can help.
